Are we in El Niño or La Niña??
We are currently in a La Niña climate pattern. Meaning we are going to have a mild winter. Our daily temperatures are expected to be higher than average. For example the average high for November 12 is 62*F, yet today’s high reached 72*F. La Niña is also expected to affect our rainfall, by giving dry conditions throughout the south and portions of the Midwest. Though portions are dry, the Ohio and Tennessee River Valley are predicted to have a surplus of rainfall.
