Storm Chase 2009

Since there was not any severe weather in the Great Plains due to a incoming ridge, we were able to go see some interesting and once in a life time sights in Kansas.  First we went to Cawker City, Kansas to visit the “Largest Ball of Twine”.  It currently weighs nearly 9 tons!  When the ball of twin first won its title it did not weigh nearly this much, but every August visitor and people from the community come to add twine making it larger and larger to assure that its title will withstand time.
