Storm Chase 2009

While waiting on the CAP to break this afternoon we parked in a beautiful park east of Wichita, Kansas.  There were ducks, ponds, frisbees, and playgrounds to keep us entertained.  Jill & I chose to do needlework (our NEW hobby), Heather read, while the other girls and David did various activities.  So, I'm guessing you know who is athletic and who is not.. haha.  

The clouds would develop, we would get excited hoping one would break the CAP, but they would quickly evaporate.  Around 2:30pm we finally had a winner, the clouds were clustering together and they were finally starting to weaken the CAP.
